We offer two separate rooms. The River Room and the Watercolour Room are our luxury rooms in Whanganui.

Each has its own special character and access to a private courtyard. Meaning you can come and go as you wish.

The River Room is designed around the changing colours of the Whanganui River. A spacious studio-style room, flooded with sunlight and is the perfect private space to unwind, reading books, or watching the television. The River Room has its own ensuite, with a stunning, heated, tiled floor and walk-in shower.

The Watercolour room is inspired by Jenny’s grandmother’s artwork and is a peaceful room overlooking private gardens. The bathroom is a key feature with a rain head shower over a beautiful bathtub in which you can relax for hours. Famous for locally hand-made Moroccan tiles made by Moabell designs. Our guests book this room to come and admire these tiles.

Both Luxury Rooms in Whanganui are filled with art made by our wonderful local artists and makers. You’ll discover ‘quirky finds’ from local charity and antique shops. Every detail is crafted to make your stay in our Whanganui Bed and Breakfast, unforgettable.

If you need something central to use as a base to explore Whanganui, our BnB is a gentle stroll to Victoria Avenue, the main street of Whanganui.
